Meet Diego Del Sol
Diego Del Sol is described as an intuitive and gifted teacher with an authentic approach that is unmatched. Diego has been studying yoga, meditation, and healing arts for over 20 years and has over 15,000 hours of teaching experience. He has mentored teachers and taught yoga to thousands of students of all levels worldwide—teaching yoga as a living art, adaptable to each person and practice session.
In 2013, Diego founded Yoga Del Sol in Washington, DC, and since has grown a significant following, rated as the number one studio on Yelp DC. Before opening Yoga Del Sol, Diego taught for 10 years at Yoga Tree in San Francisco. As one of Yoga Tree’s senior teachers, Diego was voted “Best Private Yoga Instructor” in the Bay Area by San Francisco Magazine.
Diego’s rigorous self-study and depth of experience shines through in every class he leads. Through his ability to deeply connect with his students, he helps students tap into their inner strength, intuition, and wisdom to grow and find contentment both on and off the mat. He is an advocate of self-education through study and practical experience and loves sharing the gifts of the practice with others.
Diego has a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Brandeis University.
