Diego Del Sol, Creator of Yoga Del Sol
Diego Levinas has developed his unique and inspired approach to yoga over the course of 20 years of study of yoga, meditation, and the healing arts. In more than 15,000 hours of teaching, he has brought yoga to thousands of students of all levels across the globe, mentored hundreds of teachers, and earned a reputation for gifted, intuitive instruction that honors yoga as a living art adaptable to each person and practice session.
During the decade he ran Diego Del Sol in Washington, D.C., which was rated #1 on YelpDC, Diego developed a large, devoted following. Earlier, he taught for 10 years at Yoga Tree in San Francisco. As one of Yoga Tree’s senior teachers, Diego was voted “Best Private Yoga Instructor” in the Bay Area by San Francisco Magazine. Diego’s knowledge, compassion, and depth of experience shines through in every class he leads. Through his ability to deeply connect with his students, he helps them tap into their inner strength, intuition, and wisdom to find contentment on and off the mat. He is an advocate of self-education through study and practical experience and loves sharing the gifts of yoga with others.
Diego has a Master’s degree in education from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor’s degree in literature from Brandeis University.
Anne Hylden
Anne strives to create a supportive space in her classes where students can challenge themselves and try new things. While she provides lots of technical instruction, she also focuses on using the breath to forge a stronger connection between body and mind. Anne completed her initial yoga teacher training with Diego Del Sol in 2017. Her continued studies have included an anatomy training with Nikki Robinson (2019) and a Yin Yoga teacher training with Corina Benner of Philadelphia (2020). When she’s not doing yoga, Anne is a chemistry teacher and math tutor.
Sandi Bayer
Sandi began practicing yoga in 2004, as part of her passion for health, wellness and fitness. Prior to immersing herself into yoga, she studied and applied knowledge as a Personal Trainer for over 20 years, working with a broad clientele in the DC area, focusing on assisting clients to reach and maintain their goals, as well as finding balance in their lives by adhering to a positive, proactive lifestyle.
Once she discovered the path to yoga was one which she wanted and needed, Sandi began training extensively with Diego at Yoga Del Sol in 2013 to deepen her knowledge and practice of the beauty yoga, as well as to continue growing, Individually and as an instructor. The transformations have been continuously endless, which inspires her to want to share, teach, and grow.
Sandi brings an element of warmth, passion and positivity to her students and classes, and truly loves sharing her practice!
